The Floateers app records your rides as you
make them — and syncs your tiles, rides and plans with this
site.
About Floateers
Floateers turns your neighborhood into a
tile map: the world is divided into hexagons, and every tile you
cross on a ride fills in red. Collect them all — or plan the
blue ones you still want. For Onewheel, e-skate and other PEV
riders; walkers, hikers and paddlers grab tiles too.
The apps (iPhone, Android, Apple
Watch) are where rides happen: record with the screen off, watch
the map fill live from your wrist, and attach photos and videos
that land as camera dots right where you took them.
This site, floateers.cc, is the
apps' big-screen companion — the comfortable place to relive
rides, plan new routes, write descriptions and titles, sort your
photos, and share rides as links anyone can open without
installing anything. With a free account (email link, no
password), the apps and this site stay in sync automatically;
without one, everything still works locally in this browser.
